How To Build a Website Tightly Themed
Rudy S SilvaOf the many sites that I have built, I have noticed that Google likes small websites with 10 or so pages. Here is how to build a website which is centered on specific keywords that are related.
I want to share with you a site that I built using the home page with the keyword “easy lasagna recipe.” This keyword receives 12,000 searches per month.
To build a website like this you need to have a good template. This template allows 7 targeted keywords on the sidebar and then repeats the keyword links on the top and on the bottom.
You can get this template from Kevin Knoops website templates, if you want to build a website like this. I like this template since is allows you to build a website that is tightly themed. It has the internal pages properly linked for SEO results. But for my next site I will build a website using Bizzites web site software. Bizzites can also be used to build a tightly themed website of this kind.
Here are 6 keywords that I used on this site and the statistic as of today, May 10, 2009.

You can see from this chart that Google likes this type of page more than MSN and Yahoo does not even like it.
So what promotion has been done for this site and how many visited does it gets per day. This site was started on April 4 and as of this day May 10 it is receiving 200 searches per day. So far I have promoted as follows:
- 130 bookmarking sites with bookmarking demon
- made posts in 50 private blogs
- submitted URL to 150 web directories with spun descriptions
My next promotion for this site is to submit 50 spun articles for the keyword Low Fat Lasagna four times for a total of 200 directories. I will report back to this article to see if that changes my positions in the search engines.
Build A Website Tips
Use one or two keywords as you write your content pages. Give good content that is unique or expressed in a different way.
Keep adding content to your site regularly. On each content page put a silo at the bottom of the page which leads to a series of themed articles. Silo Structure will be discussed in another article.
